Currently we are getting ready to head out to remote recreation jobs at Hot Springs Cove in Maquinna Provincial Park and Bishop Bay near Kitimat. These will be challenging projects due to their remote location. Heli-copters will be used for both jobs.
At Hot Springs Cove we will be installing urine diversion devices in the outhouses. This technique reduces the amount of pumping required since urine typically makes up %70 of outhouse waste! It is also what makes outhouses smell so bad so this will be a valuable addition to the park.
In other news, the office is getting a Christmas vibe on and we are all looking forward to the staff party at Brown’s Bay.
